Economisch Netwerk Zuid-Nederland (ENZuid) is a new strategic cooperation between eight tripple helix region’s and the provinces of Zeeland, Noord-Brabant and Limburg. The core mission of this initiative is making business out of mission driven innovation. By means of powerful interregional connections and an optimal regional innovation strategy from the Southern Netherlands within European context.

Unique partnership

The Southern Netherlands has a unique chance with three chemical clusters, knowledge institutions, and the high tech and manufacturing industry to establish a coherent approach for the reduction of CO2 and sustainable processes and products.

Webinar energy transition

ENZuid hosted a webinar about energy transition in the chemical industry, the manufacturing industry and the agro industry. Arnold Stokking, managing director Brightsite, participated in this webinar together with deputies Anne-Marie Spierings from the province of Noord-Brabant and Jo-Annes de Bat from the province of Zeeland. They covered crucial topics as elektrification, biomass and recycling.

A great assignment where knowledge and skills of all parties come together, committed to securing and promoting employment in a sustainable manner.

Brightsite is a public-private partnership between four partners. A collaboration based on an open character, which uses an expertise network to realize a transformation in the chemical industry. The Brightsite partners, Sitech Services, TNO, Maastricht University and Brightlands Chemelot Campus signed the cooperation agreement June 2019 and appointed Arnold Stokking as director. Under his leadership, Brightsite started working on the Chemelot site with six program lines.
